A Perfect Circle: The Outsider DVD

An admitted Bikini Bandits fanatic, Maynard James Keenan somehow convinced the rest of the band to commission underground filmmaker Steven Grasse to make a new Bikini Bandits episode as the music video for their hit song “The Outsider.” Grasse then collaborated with music video veteran Mark Kohr to make sure it didn’t completely suck. The resulting mayhem pissed nearly everyone off – especially the executives at Virgin Records. A stripped down, homogenized TV friendly edit was eventually salvaged from the wreckage. However, the original, long form, uncensored version remains a masterpiece of retardation. We present it to you here – warts and all.
